  • What is Evidence-based Health Coaching?
    Evidence-based (supported by research) health coaching strategy is aimed at maximizing efforts to engage, guide, and support individuals in health behavior change with the ultimate goal being to help the individual better "self-manage" chronic conditions, reduce health risk, and increase focus on prevention and optimal health.   • What do all your credentials mean?
    RN-Registered Nurse licensed through the NC Board of Nursing BSN-Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at UNC Chapel Hill HNB-BC-Holistic Nurse Baccalaureate-Board Certified. To achieve these credentials, I completed 60 hours of continuing education and passed the board certification exam in holistic nursing. I am also a member of the American Holistic Nursing Association. CHC-Certified Health Coach. To achieve this certification, I completed over 40 hours of continuing education through the National Society of Health Coaches. Following the educational coursework, I successfully completed both written and practical examinations. This certification is only available to licensed healthcare professionals.
  • How does the process work? How long will I need coaching?
    We start with a free 90-minute conversation to get acquainted. Sessions last 75-90 minutes in person, via Zoom or over the phone The frequency of sessions depends on your preference and goals. I recommend at least 1 month to begin building new habits. However, 2-3 months of sessions allows the time to firmly build those healthy habits and work through any challenges that arise.

  • How much does it cost?
    Individual sessions are either $100 or $150 depending on the session variety Larger packages and group coaching pricing are available upon request Discounts are available for larger packages Gift certificates are also available
